FanBase pricing for creators and for fans

FanBase pricing has no plans for creators: joining is free and FanBase keeps 20 percent of each fan payment. Fans pay the prices creators set, from $4.99 to $49.99 a month, with optional 3, 6 and 12 month bundles.

Pricing for fans

Fans never pay to join. A fan account is free, created with an email and password and confirmed with a 6 digit code. Fans then pay only for what they choose:

  • Memberships at the monthly price the creator sets, between $4.99 and $49.99.
  • Bundles of 3, 6 or 12 months, with a discount set by the creator.
  • Pay per view posts at a single price.
  • Paid messages that unlock media.
  • Tips of any amount on profiles and posts.

Fans pay by card or crypto, and they can top up a wallet balance to use for tips, pay per view and paid messages. They can cancel a membership any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

Example tiers

Up to three tiers per creator, each with its own price and perks. Here is an example for a chef. It is an illustration, not a rule.

Tier Price Example perks Creator keeps
Kitchen $4.99 a month Weekly members only recipes $3.99
Cook along $9.99 a month Everything above plus full cooking videos $7.99
Chef's table $24.99 a month Everything above plus a monthly paid message Q and A $19.99

How bundles look

Say your $9.99 tier has a 15 percent discount on a 6 month bundle. The fan pays $50.95 up front instead of $59.94 over six months, and you keep 80 percent, $40.76, once the payment clears. You choose the discount for each bundle length.

A sample month

Here is a hypothetical month for a creator using the three tiers above.

Source Fan payments You keep
60 members on Kitchen $299.40 $239.52
40 members on Cook along $399.60 $319.68
10 members on Chef's table $249.90 $199.92
15 pay per view recipes at $6 $90.00 $72.00
Tips $60.00 $48.00
Total $1,098.90 $879.12

These numbers are made up to show how pricing works, not a forecast.

Tips for setting your prices

  • Make the entry tier easy to say yes to. A low first price brings in fans who may move up later.
  • Make the middle tier the obvious choice. Put your best regular perks here.
  • Keep the top tier personal. Paid messages, feedback or direct access justify a higher price.
  • Use pay per view for big pieces. A full course or a long video can sell on its own without changing tiers.
  • Review after a month. Your analytics show which tiers and posts earn most.

What is included for every creator

Every creator gets the same tools, with no plans to upgrade: a page at fanbase.org/@handle, up to three tiers, bundles, posts with four access levels, pay per view, paid messages, tips, scheduling, analytics, CSV export, weekly payouts to bank or crypto and identity verification. See how it works on our membership platform page.

Getting paid

Earnings clear 7 days after each payment. You can withdraw once your cleared balance is $50 or more, and payouts go out weekly. Read more on the payouts page.

Refund rules

Payments are final, with exceptions for a double charge, a proven unauthorised charge or a total outage of the service. Fans can cancel any time. The full text is in our refund policy.

Why there are no plans for creators

Many platforms charge creators a monthly plan and unlock tools at higher levels. We chose not to. Every creator on FanBase gets the full set of tools from day one, and we earn only through the 20 percent fee on fan payments. If you earn nothing in a month, you pay nothing.

This keeps the decision simple. You do not need to guess which plan you will need in six months, and you never pay for tools you do not use. As your page grows, the fee grows with your earnings, and your share stays at 80 percent.

Pricing for adult creators

Adult creators in the separate Adult 18+ section use the same pricing: free to join, 20 percent fee, tiers from $4.99 to $49.99, bundles, pay per view, paid messages and tips. Identity verification is required before anything is published there.

Try your own prices

On the homepage, enter a page name, category, monthly price and expected paying fans. You instantly see a page preview and your projected monthly payout at 80 percent, with no account needed.
