Refund Policy

Last updated October 15, 2026

All payments on FanBase are final. This covers memberships, renewals, bundles, pay per view posts, paid messages, tips and wallet top-ups. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and is set by the administrator of the fanbase.org service.

Why payments are final

When you pay on FanBase, you get access straight away, and 80 percent of your payment goes to the creator you support. Content you unlock stays unlocked, and a tip or paid message reaches the creator immediately. For that reason we do not offer refunds for change of mind, unused time, or content you no longer want.

The exceptions

We refund a payment in only three cases.

Case What it means What we do
Double charge You were charged twice for the same thing because of a technical error We refund the extra charge
Unauthorised charge A payment was made without your permission and this is proven, for example through a confirmed case of stolen card details We refund the payment and secure the account
Total outage The whole service was unavailable to you for the period you paid for, because of a fault on our side We refund or credit the affected period

Problems with a single post, a creator posting less often than you hoped, or not using your membership are not covered. If a creator does not deliver what their tier promises, report it with the report button and we will review it.

Cancelling a membership

You can cancel any membership at any time in your settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made. Cancelling does not refund the current period or past payments.

Bundles of 3, 6 or 12 months are paid in advance for the whole period and do not renew into a refund if cancelled early. You keep access until the bundle ends.

EU consumers and the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content and services that start right away, this right ends once you agree at checkout to immediate access and confirm that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal. On FanBase, checkout asks for this agreement before every payment, because access starts at once. If you do not agree, the payment does not go ahead.

Nothing in this policy limits any other rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

How to ask for a review

If you think one of the exceptions applies:

  1. Email support@fanbase.org within 30 days of the charge.
  2. Use the email address of your FanBase account.
  3. Include the date, the amount, the creator or item, and a short description of what happened. For an unauthorised charge, add any reference from your bank or card issuer.

We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds can take a few business days to show. Crypto refunds are sent in the same currency to an address you confirm, and network fees may apply.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually fix a real problem faster. Accounts with chargebacks may be paused while we review them.
