Terms of Service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fanbase.org and every service offered on it ("FanBase", "the service"). The service is operated by the administrator of the fanbase.org service ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use FanBase.

You can reach us at support@fanbase.org.

Who can use FanBase

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create a creator account.
  • Fans must be old enough to form a binding contract where they live. Where a parent or guardian's consent is required, the fan must have it.
  • Only fans who are 18 or older, confirm their age and turn the section on in their settings may access the Adult 18+ section.
  • You may not use FanBase if you have been banned from the service before, or if the law where you live forbids it.

Your account

  • You sign up with an email address and a password, and confirm the address with a 6 digit code.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • One person, one personal account. Teams that manage several creators use an agency team account, and every creator on it must agree to these Terms.
  • Tell us right away at support@fanbase.org if you think someone else has access to your account.

Creator accounts and obligations

Joining FanBase as a creator is free. When you publish on FanBase you agree that:

  • You will complete identity verification (a government ID and a selfie showing you are 18 or older) before your first payout and before you post anything in the Adult 18+ section.
  • You own, or have every right and permission needed for, everything you post.
  • Every person who appears in your content is an adult who has consented to appear and to have the content published. For adult content you collect and keep each co-performer's ID and signed consent on file before posting, and you provide those records to us on request. See our 2257 Compliance Statement.
  • Adult content is posted only in the Adult 18+ section.
  • You describe your tiers, perks and pay per view posts honestly, and you deliver what you promise to members.
  • You follow our Acceptable Use Policy and all laws that apply to you, including tax laws. You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your earnings.

Every post is reviewed before it goes public, and every upload is checked against lists of known illegal material. We may decline, remove or limit any post that breaks these Terms or our policies.

Fees

FanBase keeps a platform fee of 20 percent of every fan payment (memberships, renewals, bundles, pay per view posts, paid messages and tips). The creator receives the remaining 80 percent. There is no monthly plan for creators. Agency team accounts pay the same 20 percent fee. If we ever change the fee, we will tell creators by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Payouts

  • Earnings clear 7 days after each payment.
  • You can withdraw once your cleared balance is $50 or more.
  • Payouts go out weekly to the bank account or crypto wallet you add in your settings.
  • You are responsible for giving correct payout details. Payouts sent to details you entered cannot always be recovered.
  • We may hold or reverse earnings tied to a chargeback, a payment found to be unauthorised, a payment made in breach of these Terms, or content that breaks our policies, and we may hold payouts while we review a suspected breach.

Fan payments and subscriptions

  • Fans pay by card or crypto, or from their wallet balance.
  • Memberships renew automatically each period until cancelled. Fans can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Payments are final. The only exceptions are a double charge, a proven unauthorised charge and a total outage of the service. Our Refund Policy explains how this works and how EU consumers' right of withdrawal applies.
  • Wallet balances can be used for tips, pay per view posts and paid messages on FanBase. They cannot be withdrawn as cash by fans.

Content ownership and license

  • Creators own the content they post. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to us.
  • By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and deliver your content to the fans you choose, to create thumbnails and previews you have marked as public, and to review it for safety. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce these Terms.
  • Fans get a personal, non-transferable right to view content they have paid for or that is public, on FanBase only. Fans may not download, copy, share, resell or publish any creator's content elsewhere.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not post or do anything listed in our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular:

  • Minors. Zero tolerance for any sexual content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor. Such content is removed, the account is closed and the matter is reported to the authorities.
  • Non-consent. No content of any person who has not consented to it.
  • Violence, hate and illegal goods. No content that promotes violence, hate, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
  • Impersonation and stolen content. No pretending to be someone else, and no posting other people's content.
  • Spam and fraud. No spam, scams, fake accounts or attempts to move payments off the service.

Reporting

Every profile and post has a report button. Copyright owners can send notices as described in our DMCA Policy. We review every report.

Suspension and termination

  • You can close your account at any time in your settings. Cleared earnings above $50 are paid out in the next weekly payout, subject to any holds described above.
  • We may suspend or close an account, remove content or hold payouts if we believe these Terms were broken, if the law requires it, or to protect fans, creators or the service.
  • Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we tell you why. Accounts closed for content involving minors are closed permanently and without notice.

The service

We work to keep FanBase available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove features. We do not guarantee any level of earnings for creators.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the fees we kept from your payments in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses caused by your breach of these Terms or by content you posted.

Disputes

Before starting any formal claim, contact support@fanbase.org and give us 30 days to try to solve the issue. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of the service, without removing any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For important changes we will tell you by email or in the service before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using FanBase after a change, the new Terms apply.
