Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 15, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is allowed on FanBase and what is not. It applies to every creator, fan and agency, to every post and message, and to every part of the service. It is part of our Terms of Service and is set by the administrator of the fanbase.org service. Questions go to support@fanbase.org.

What is allowed where

Where Who can post What is allowed
Mainstream catalogue Any creator Music, fitness, food, gaming, podcasts, art, education, lifestyle and other content that is not adult content
Adult 18+ section Identity verified creators aged 18 or older Adult content between consenting adults, with every co-performer's ID and consent on file
Messages Creators and the fans who support them Content that follows the same rules as posts, including the adult content rules

Adult content is allowed only in the Adult 18+ section and only from verified creators. It must never appear on a mainstream page, in a mainstream category, in a profile photo, cover image or public preview, or in a message to a fan who has not turned the adult section on.

Every post is reviewed before it goes public, and every upload is checked against lists of known illegal material.

Banned everywhere

The following is not allowed anywhere on FanBase, including the Adult 18+ section and private messages.

Minors

Zero tolerance for any sexual content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor, including drawn, animated or AI generated material. It is removed, the account is closed permanently and the matter is reported to the authorities. Content that sexualises school settings or childlike features is also banned.

Non-consent

  • Content of anyone who has not consented to being recorded and to its publication.
  • Hidden camera content, leaked private content or content shared as revenge.
  • Content showing real or simulated sleep, intoxication, coercion or lack of consent in an adult context.
  • Adult content with a co-performer whose ID and signed consent are not on file.

Violence and harm

  • Real violence, gore, threats, or content that encourages self-harm or harm to others.
  • Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.

Illegal goods and services

  • Selling or promoting drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen data or any illegal service.
  • Offering or arranging in-person sexual services.

Hate and harassment

  • Attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar traits.
  • Harassment, bullying, doxxing or sharing someone's private information.

Impersonation and others' content

  • Pretending to be another person, creator or brand.
  • Posting content you did not create and do not have the rights to, including content taken from other creators on or off FanBase.
  • Fans sharing, downloading, reselling or republishing any creator's content outside FanBase.

Spam and fraud

  • Spam, mass messages to people who do not support you, fake engagement or fake accounts.
  • Scams, misleading offers, or asking fans to pay outside FanBase.
  • Using stolen cards, abusing chargebacks or manipulating payouts.

Platform abuse

  • Trying to get around age checks, content review or account bans.
  • Scraping, hacking, or interfering with the service or other users.

Reporting

Every profile and post has a report button. Copyright owners can use our DMCA Policy. Reports are reviewed, and reports about minors or non-consent are handled first.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:

  • Remove the content.
  • Send a warning.
  • Limit features such as posting or messaging.
  • Hold payouts while we review the case, or reverse earnings tied to banned content or fraud.
  • Suspend or permanently close the account.
  • Report the matter to the authorities when the law requires it or when people may be at risk.

Content involving minors, non-consent or impersonation leads to permanent closure. Creators whose accounts are closed may not open a new one.
